I'm driving down to London tomorrow to spend the weekend at my aunt and uncles along with my parents, who I'm meeting there. On Sunday I'm off to Hugglets with mum and dad - can't wait to see all the bears, and buy some new materials for the Littlest Thistle Clan. I'll maybe get them a playmate or two too :o)

I've been on a roll over the last few days designing the 2 new patterns for Lilac and Lulu, and getting Edward's pattern finished, and sorting out a new panda design, and getting another wee panda's materials set, when unfortunately an A&E moment intervened last night. Hopefully normal service will be resumed on Friday, after I've emptied the old fridge freezer ready for its replacement coming on Saturday at 7am!

Ugh, is it the weekend yet?

I've had a rebellion on my hands here. I was quite determined that 2 little piles of fur were to be Lilac and Lulu Thistle, but after a 5 hour long revolt, I now have Matilda and Millicent... Mouse!!!

I can see their point, I had tried to make them more feminine and with different fur, but then they didn't really 'go' with their older brothers and sister. So now Lilac and Lulu are returning to the drawing board to come out of more 'Thistle' like fur, and Matilda and Millicent, for all their rebellion, will have to wait the two weeks till Hugglets now so that I can get tail materials and work out how I'm going to do the whiskers!
Meet Lotus Blossom

Little Lotus Blossom, from the Chinese Garden family, is 3 3/4" tall when standing, and is heading off to Dudley for Valentine's Day. She's quite an opinionated little panda, demanding several new techniques be used on her! She's made out of mini upholstery velvet in ivory and plum, is 5 way cotter pin jointed and has a centre seam head. Her face is shaded, and she has a shiny waxed nose. I do hope she'll like her new home! She will be hopping in an envelope tonight and will be on her way tomorrow...

So I had plans for the last 2 Thistle family members to be bear shaped by the end of this week, but instead a small panda has somehow snuck in and jumped to the front of the queue! Does anyone else have devious bears like this?!
