Whew, I can finally let one of the multitude of secrets I've been keeping go.  My friend Jo over at My Bearpaw, and Avery Homestore, has been busy organising a sewing retreat to run near her shop in Edinburgh this summer:

The Stitch Gathering Button

There will be a range of fabulous teachers there, offering a variety of classes, not to mention a Scottish Modern Quilt exhibition, and, what every fabric addict wants, a 15% discount in store for any little thing you might suddenly feel you *need*.  Throw in a goody bag, lunch and refreshments to boot, what more could you want?  So head on over to the site and sign up for more info, pronto, and I'll hopefully see you on the day!

  6. I wish I lived in Edinburgh! This Retreat looks so fab. I only met Jo right at the end of FQR 2013 (on the way to the Tube in fact) and she was lovely - wish I'd bumped into her at the start!
