Here’s the first shot of Oakley, who I just finished this weekend, and who will be available at The Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event in Sheffield on 21st November. His little sailor collar was a bit of a challenge, but I think I managed to pull it off in the end. More photos will follow tomorrow night hopefully :o)

Aww, he's sweet! I love his face and his collar.
sooo cute!!
What a cutie… I believe he was my failed guess at who would appear Midsummer's Night, lol!
Oakley is adorable with his little sailboat and slightly befuddled look! The collar works beautifully.
Thanks for your kind words on my blog..it's always good to talk with another woman from Norn Iron, even if we are ex-pats. I know what you mean about itchy feet..such a big world to see and so little time! I just started a second blog to post photos of my travels and the odd bit of nostalgia. I have a poem I wrote about Belfast at the height of the Troubles on there now..you might be interested to read it.
I'll sign off with that URL in case you want to check it out, and I'll be back to visit soon…

Wow! That's awesome! That seems like it would be so hard to make. I like the idea of giving stuffed animals professions or hobbies (like sailing) because people would want to buy them for someone in their life with that profession or hobby!
I also think it's awsome that your bears each get a birth cirtificate! It's things like that that make a gift extra secial.
Anyways, I wanted to thank you for leaving your comment on my post about excess spending on craft supplies (or other items). It definitely made me feel more sane and less alone. And thank you for taking the time to read it.
Love, Lilly
Wow, a little sailor bear. He is so cute!!! I'll wait for the other photos 😉
