Yeah, yeah, I know it’s another early Saturday morning, so sue me!

Anywho, I’ve been a busy little bee this week, and have managed to get from this last weekend:

To this tonight (after a small detour to the pub for a couple on the way home, and yes, amazingly they’re all straight after that ;o) ):

That’s 20 blocks for the Across The Sea QAL, all pieced, pressed and trimmed down.  This is my first ever quilt, and all I can say is, there’s an awful lot of using an iron for quilting.  I never use an iron.  I’m the woman that buys clothes that specifically do not need to be ironed.  But oh well, one has to compromise sometimes for the things one loves.

On my list for this weekend is the following:

• Do the 2 mug rugs for the Mug Rug And Goodie Swap
• Plan out the goodies for the above swap
• Get those QAL blocks arranged and sewn together

And yet this is creeping in, itching to be turned into a halloween bear (I know, I know, I haven’t finished poor panda girl, but she has another new technique that I’m still trying to work out, and this guy would be hassle free):

And then there’s this: 

I have till the end of the month to get the bag I’m planning with this done, and yet it may get in there faster.
