So my Sunday has involved quite a bit of time with a pencil, rulers, paper, tracing paper and some French curves. That was followed by a lot of quality time with my rotary cutter and piles of fabric, followed by some stitching and note taking, so quite a fun day pattern designing all round. Here’s a sneak peek of a couple of things I’ve been playing with:
So what have you been up to?
You were so productive. Me? I took a "brain off weekend". Giggle. Didn't do a thing that needed creative thinking. Well, just a few photos of something that I will have available on Friday.
It was SO much fun just to relax and not be creative. (o: Lazy? Yes!
Hugs
Well you were creative. Me!! I was busy with a little grandaughter. It won't be long before they are all grown up, so I need to make the most of our time together.

Watching Downton Abbey and sewing. Great weekend. Oh, and some time with Mr. Romance, too!
Unfortunately, I've not been "up to" much at all. Here's to a better, more productive week!
I watched the series finale of Chuck, bought some more baby orajel for Maze's sore mouth (2.5 teeth now!), did some laundry and caught up on a few sewing related things.
cutting… cutting… cutting… i have been cutting. 😉 i will be sewing sewing sewing tomorrow.
celebrating chinese new year and watching the oz open finals whilst knitting socks – your little projects look intruiging….
Nothing. I have been up to NOTHING. 🙁
I was really rocking and rolling yesterday as I finally figured out how to do the simplest stitch on my serger, and I got one little project done, and I felt SO awesome, and then it went WONK and KNOCK and PLUNK and stopped working like it should. 🙁 And it's totally messed up my mojo for all sewing.
I'm taking it to the doc tomorrow, and I hope they can stop the knockin' and get it to rockin'! 🙂
Oooh have you been doing 3 bags at once?! Impressive lady 🙂
How exciting, I really like the brown with dots (but don't tell Hadley!). I loved the stash glimpse, it looks very tidy!
Is that Its A Hoot? Love it 🙂
Mm those look interesting. I spent time with a ruler and pencil too! and caught up on Masterchef.
Katy, I am dizzy looking at everything you've been creating ove the past few months. Wow! Good for you! I'm now inspired by you as well as by all the beautiful things I've found on Pinterest (addicting…you don't want to go there…). Now to find the time!
I went to a quilt show on Sunday an met Helen (helenjanei on Flickr) – good day out!
Ooh, bag bits! Your iron looks fancy. :>
