This week was mostly taken up with my new project, the Foundation Paper Piecing For The Terrified SAL, but I did whip up a quilt top too…
Finishes this week:
Block 1 for FPPFTT, which I turned into a pouch:
I got block 2 done too, but I’ll wait til tomorrow to preview it :o)
In Progress This Week:
I completed my Stained QAL top this afternoon, except for the borders. Apologies for the truly awful pic, but it was the best I could do here at night! I used a fat quarter bundle of Innocent Crush that I had bought with no specific purpose in mind, but I had a bit of a lightbulb moment just before I was due to start cutting for this, so it’s going to become my granny’s birthday pressie
I decided to cut the fabric I have so far for the FTLOS swap, but I’m still waiting on the last 2 fabrics :o(
No Progress This Week:
SHQ QAL- I will get block 10 done tonight I hope, and after that there’s only 2 more blocks
The bag I started 4 weeks ago – this is beginning to get embarrassing!
To Be Worked On This Week:
That bag I started 4 weeks ago!!!
A couple of block designs
My FTLOS swap items?!
A design for a new travel bag

It was an utterly frustrating week for me this week, since the chest infection came on again with a vengeance, and having, rather ill-advisedly ventured into work on Monday, I spent time yesterday with the doc getting a lecture and loaded up on steroids, inhalers and antibiotics, and a flea in my ear about how long it had been since I attended the asthma clinic, so no exercise for me this week :o/ I’m REALLY hoping I’ll be back to doing things by next Monday!!!

Oh my, that's one doozy of a chest infection!
I love your stained quilt – such pretty colors!
Looking forward to seeing what I am letting myself in for next week. Your stained glass quilt is lovely, your granny is a lucky lady!
I love your Stained top!
Hope you get a little rest and feel on top form again soon xxx
Ooh love the stained glass. Do i need to get my first aid certificate b4 our road trip? At least i wont have to worry about keeping up with u hiking if this goes on another 6 months or so!
Glad to hear you went back to see the doc and that she is concerned enough to give you that flea. You and your uncle Ian are keeping up with each other on the biotics front, but at least nobody is flushing out the inside of your leg! Take care,
Dad
P.S. What about my wee bear?
Wow, you are quite productive with all your quilting projects– I'm so impressed! (I'm slower than a snail and trying to learn to live with that). Sorry to hear about your chest cold– hope that it resolves soon and that you are feeling better. Congrats on losing 15 lbs!! (My first visit here). I love that you made that first block into a pouch– great idea!
Love the quilt top! Hope you're feeling better soon.
biggest congrats on the weight loss because that is a goal I need to reach. I've lost 2 this week! Yippee. Of course, all your projects are fab.
I love your stained glass quilt – beautiful! Congrats on getting closer to your weight loss goal – that is awesome!
