Do you ever get bee block block?  You know, when your bee mate gives you an entirely open topic to interpret and you haven’t a clue what to do?  I had total bee block block with this month’s Piece Bee With You block – our favourite things.  Oh my!  So many things to choose from, but how to interpret it?!  A random discussion with Sunni gave me an idea, but it still needed to be tinkered with.  I wore a groove in my head scratching it I think!  Anyway, this is what I finally came up with, as the best combination of things I could make, can you see what it is?  If you can’t just don’t tell me ;o)  Oh, we had to sign it too, so I attempted free stitching…  Hope this works for you Alli!

For my second bee block for this month Allegory asked for bookshelf blocks and sent a varied assortment of scraps, as well as a grey background that we had to use.  We had to sign this one too, but I didn’t think I could stitch small enough for a book, so I stamped it, can you spot the book?  Hope it works for you Al!

Up until I got to these I was cleaning and tidying for the surveyor that’s coming on Monday to value the flat for a remortgage, so if you could all keep your fingers crossed for me for it all going through I’d be really grateful!  I’m just hoping he can ignore the piles of things waiting to go to FQR, and the retro flowers waiting to go, and my design wall that’s propped against the wall, but sitting its bottom on the sofa…

Tomorrow I’m going to head over to see my gran, as there’s a vicious rumour there will be sun, and get a photo of my Retro Flowers for the Blogger’s Quilt Festival, and then I have a project to work on for Julie…
