Well, I’ve not sewed anything yet anyway! I spent the morning traipsing all over the city centre trying to get a pile of things done that I wasn’t able to do while I was working in that ex-sewing machine factory place recently. Once I’d finished that though, I got to go up and visit the lovely Fiona to collect my Brit Bee fabrics and instructions for July (and get eaten by the poor teething dog ;o) ) She was kind enough to let me borrow part of her garden for a photo shoot, and I was finally able to get my pattern submission in this evening – phew!
As it’s just been pay day, I came home to some lovely goodies in the post though:
Firstly from Fancy Moon, some of the ‘A Girl For Every Season’, from Cori Dantini’s gorgeous Beauty Is You line. There’s 2 lots of panels in this line, and I have these in mind for some very special bags.
Secondly from Eclectic Maker, Michael Miller’s Indigo Red line. I got a good amount of the mopeds (fabulously entitled ‘The British Are Coming’) and a half metre of the beach huts, plus fat quarters of the rest. I also have bags in mind for these, but of a rather different design!
Hope you’ve all been having a good weekend so far!
Lovely fabrics, looking forward to seeing the bags!
Wooohooo! I have some british are coming too, not worked out what to do with it yet though 🙂
I am having a fantastic weekend (well tomorrow's trip to the indoor play place with a load of 5 year olds will put a huge downer on it – thank heavens for Spring Carnival!) xxx
Great choices of fabrics! I'm sure those bags will look amazing! =D
Oooh you got to go see Fiona and meet Murphey? Lucky lucky 🙂
Fabric post is always nice, and I especially love those scooters!
So how was the rest of your day? The new fabrics is lovely, I have looked at those panels a few times now and bags are a great idea.
It looks like cute bags are on the to do list. Love your fabrics.
Hugs
Gorgeous fabrics! Jxo
Oh I'm envious of your fabric! But I refuse to buy any more without a purpose. Gah talk about a frustrating circle 🙂
I love the fabric in the first photo.
Thank you for always visiting us on Funny Friday's.
Hugs

eeeep – those mopeds are fab!!!
Now come on, the puppy didn't eat you! He may have fancied a nibble of your shoes, but when he was trying to jump all over you, I'm sure he was just trying to give you a nice licky kiss 😉
Lovely fabrics 🙂
