Well, I’ve not sewed anything yet anyway!  I spent the morning traipsing all over the city centre trying to get a pile of things done that I wasn’t able to do while I was working in that ex-sewing machine factory place recently.  Once I’d finished that though, I got to go up and visit the lovely Fiona to collect my Brit Bee fabrics and instructions for July (and get eaten by the poor teething dog ;o) )  She was kind enough to let me borrow part of her garden for a photo shoot, and I was finally able to get my pattern submission in this evening – phew!

As it’s just been pay day, I came home to some lovely goodies in the post though:

Firstly from Fancy Moon, some of the ‘A Girl For Every Season’, from Cori Dantini’s gorgeous Beauty Is You line.  There’s 2 lots of panels in this line, and I have these in mind for some very special bags.

Secondly from Eclectic Maker, Michael Miller’s Indigo Red line.  I got a good amount of the mopeds (fabulously entitled ‘The British Are Coming’) and a half metre of the beach huts, plus fat quarters of the rest. I also have bags in mind for these, but of a rather different design!

Hope you’ve all been having a good weekend so far!
