Practically Paper Piecing

Next month I’m taking part in a blog hop hosted by Kristy at Quiet Play.  She came up with the ingenious idea of gathering a bunch of paper piecers together and letting us show you what we do with the random orphan blocks we’ve created that we can’t quite face making an entire quilt around!  Now her timing for this happened to be impeccable, as using my string block from FPPFTT is on my FAL list for this quarter, so now I have an excuse for actually getting this one done!  As it happens though, there are 22 others, apart from us, who also have orphan blocks to rehouse, so starting on the 1st August, you can find out exactly what we’re doing to give them a new purpose in life:
