It’s that time of the week again, and for me the last week was mostly taken up with the bee blocks due for the end of June (oh and another little project I can’t share with you for a few weeks ;o) ). I also got to spend some time with the lovely Fiona and the nibbling/teething puppy plus 3 holiday-happy kids (that’s kind of like flak happy ;o) ). This weekend I’m back down in London again so that I can sing in the Albert Hall on Sunday night, and I’m getting the train down (so no chance of car breakdown, but with a renewed heavy rain warning for central and southern Scotland for Friday and Saturday, there’s a real chance of train breakdown/diversions).
Finishes This Week:
Piece Bee With You house block for Eva:
Sew Bee Joyful X and O block for Kelly:
Stitch tease 72″ strip for Di (this being a secret bee, pixellated fragments it is, sorry!)
In Progress This Week:
I’ve been making a little something for a tute which I’ll be posting tomorrow as part of my challenge for the month (among other things!) All I can tell you about this is that there is Liberty and linen involved…
To Be Worked On This Week:
Finish the tute for tomorrow
Start working on my purse for the frame purse swap – I need a piece to take to London (which will totally confuse the recipient I’m sure, ha!)
Hexies and Square Dance EPP for the train journey
Bicycle embroidery perhaps? For when I get bored with the EPP…
Hope everyone has a great week :o)
Linking up, as ever to:
singing in the Albert Hall? *is impressed*
You have been busy!
So, tell s, this well kept secret of yours: do you sing solo or in a (how big) choir. Opera or operetta? Or Heavy Metal?
Anyway, I was distracted and got carried away …
I just wanted to say I loove the lawn in front of the house!
Good luck on the journey!! and have a great time at the Albert Hall!!
That house block is fantastic, I love the door!!
Hope the weather is okay for your journey, sounds like you're packing enough to keep you occupied! Good luck with the singing too, I cant even sing in the shower if there's anyone else in the house….
Ooh is that The Really Big Chorus do? (I had to google – I am not that cultured!) x
Liberty and linen, I can't wait. Hope all your travel goes alright at the weekend, it sounds like it will be another wet and miserable weekend
Did I read singing! Hope that goes well!
Great projects, still loving that house! =D
I love the way you say so you can sing in the Albert Hall – like it was just some random whim you've had. And what do you mean catching the train so you don't break down? I thought it was quite fun lol x
It all sounds good to me! I want to see a photo of you embroidering while riding a bicycle!
You cant toss out "Im singing at the Albert Hall " and then not give details.
Are you sure you have enough on the go to keep you busy . Sheesh! I feel completely slack now.
Oooh ahhh, Albert Hall?! Wow! Good luck getting there, hope you have quick and safe travels!!
I love the X and O block!
Ooh…I love these blocks, Katy, with the wee faces in the window and all those luscious colours. Makes me wonder if I could unearth my sewing machine from the heap of boxes that enclose it…hmmm…doubt it.
Would love to fly over and see you in the Albert Hall, but I'm currently on stage nightly in my dynamic one-woman show…well, in my daydreams, anyway…LOL!
Your comments always make me smile…:)
Love those little faces in your house! 🙂
Albert hall! Wow! Enjoy/break a leg etc. etc.
I love the way you casually throw in the Albert Hall gig!! How cool is that? Love your blocks and your sneaky pixellated peeks!
Do you have to post teasers?? It's a reminder of how far behind I am!
🙂 So coy. I see I'm not the only one quite intrigued by your comment about singing in Albert Hall. We went to a concert there, and it was just magical as a spectator. I can't imagine how magical it would be to perform there! 🙂
And that little house block is so darling. Great job…as usual. 🙂
