Tickets are now on sale for The Stitch Gathering.
Rush on over right now so you can join us for a fabulous day in Edinburgh (and given my dislike for the city, it’s not often I say that ;o) ) With only 65 tickets available and over half already sold, you don’t want to miss out!
I fell in love with Edinburgh as a backpacker back in the 90s. Even though it was mid winter and most things were shut, it had this ancient feel but an arty vibe as well. I would give a lot to get a chance to go back there one day. So I am intrigued as to why you dislike it.
The Stitch Gathering sounds fun! Why do you not like Edinburgh?
I love Edinburgh, why don't you like it?? I wish i could go, but i don't think the finances will strech that far.
It would be a real pilgrimage for me to get there. 🙂
May be a wee bit far unfortunately… but sounds fab!
Katy lives in Glasgow, Her Mum is Glaswegian, as is her Gran. Not far back my family was from Glasgow area. Glaswegians dislike Edinburgh and the opposite is true too. The Edinburghers think they're true Scots but the Glaswegians KNOW that the people from Auld Reekie are simply English folk moved North. Then there's the weather – Edinburgh is bloody cold. So what's to LIKE about Edinburgh? 🙂
Of course I don't really mean this, well only a little:-)

Erm, thanks Alan, you are really helping us sell the Stitch Gathering tickets with your views on Edinburgh!! 😉
I just met a gal named Dolores at Sew South. She's attending. Tell her "hi" from me when you see her.
