I’ve been a busy little bee getting my class sample ready for The Stitch Gathering in August. This is what we’ll be making:
A paper pieced teapot that will be turned into a teapot stand. For a bit of fun, I grabbed Angela Walter’s FMQ book and had a bit of a play. There’s a dodgy attempt at ‘Paisley’ in the teapot:
And of course every kitschy kitchen needs some wood panelling on the walls, along with some looping steam from the spout:
And finally the base has some really bad all over geometrics – this was definitely easier on the long arm!
Don’t worry, I won’t insist on the dubious quilting in class!
Love the quilting on this! Esp the wood panelling and the steam. What a fun little teapot stand x
lol Quiltings not that bad, certainly not dubious… lol Great class choice tho 🙂
It's going to be a wonderful class!
How cool! I like your dodgy and dubious quilting. 🙂
What a fun teapot!! The quilting looks fab to me!!
Great block. You will make a fab teacher.
If I was coming to the retreat I would have put an apple on your desk. No dubious quilting in sight – just loveliness!

Oh my goodness! I love your wood paneling. Lovely!
