Whew, I seem to have been typing up round ups all week! Anyway, at least this time I didn’t have to tax too many brain cells trying to work out what I’ve done ;o) I dedicated the long weekend to bag making, and I got 9 done, although there were 2 identical ones of 2 different designs, and 3 identical ones of another. I haven’t got any proper photos yet though, sorry!
Finishes This Week:
9 bags, no photos, hopefully I’ll get them out this weekend for a shoot when I meet my friends.
NYB Cushion – finally!
In Progress This Week:
I’ve pulled fabrics for the bag I’m intending to do as a sew along, more details to follow, but here’s what I want to use. Amazingly I found both the dots and the ellies in Mandors, our local fabric shop, which traditionally tends towards the, well, traditional! The blue will be the outer, and the oranges will be linings:
To Be Worked On This Week:
Madrona Corners – I’ll be finishing the quilting on Saturday, I can’t wait! I hope to get the binding on on Sunday.
Bag For The SAL – I hope to get the pattern worked out, and to start the assembly, but we’ll see how it goes
Hope you’ve all had a great week! Linking up, as ever, with:
And why are we making nine bags?

you made 9 bags this weekend? That's quite an accomplishment
There is something really satisfying about finding beautiful fabrics in an otherwise a little dull/traditional quilt shop- doesn't happen much though does it!! I LOVE those elephants, and don't get me started on my obsession with polka dots. :o)
I couldn't take my eyes off the NYB–it's absolutely gorgeous! I just stared at it for the longest time.
Ooh, your bag's going to be pretty!
NYB looks lovely.
9 bags =Overachiever.
Gorgeous pillow!!
