Carole at Beechwood Quilting took some photos of me in action, however due to going on holiday and some e-mail problems, she wasn’t able to send them over to me until this week, so here you go, just to prove I really did do the quilting on Madrona Corners :oD
The pebbles/cobbles, including the marking I used to guide my bigger ones (this was the highly technical frixion pen approach, which scared Carole & Brian in case it didn’t come out again!):
The white knuckle ride through it (hadn’t realised I was gripping that hard!)
And the final thing straight off the frame, with Brian’s hand holding it up on the left, just in case you thought I was secretly an octopus…
Now I’m planning for Winterkissin’, but I have to sort my back for that first…
Such intense concentration…..
Turned out beautiful.
It was worth all the effort!
I believed you OBVIOUSLY but glad you provided photographic evidence 😉
I so want to have a go! Well done you Katy!
As if we questioned your honesty! You were certainly intent on beating that quilting into submission 🙂
Your so serious when your concentrating!!!
I wouldn't have liked to interrupt you in the middle of all that focussing! Juliex
awesome! octopus, hahahaha!
It's so cool that you have a chance to long arm your own quilts!
Ooooh, the concentration! :o)
You drive that beast!!!
I hope you mean the quilt back and not your real back!! Jxo
Gosh, what concentration! You did such a brilliant job on it, you must be bloody thrilled with it. (is it on its way home yet?) Oooh the fun you could have with winterkist too. Cant wait to hear your plans on that.
Do you mean you have to get your back right. If so I want you to feel better very soon. Your quilt was a real achievement.
Hugs
that's a happy smile of achievement
Hold it any tighter and we might see some white knuckles 🙂
You did a fantastic job ; )
Had my first expierence on a long arm a week ago! It is just that intense. Concentration is a must…and you have that down pat!!! =]
You look so happy in that last one – as you should, it's a brilliant quilt :o)
You did a brilliant job!
Great pics. But really, they aren't proof. You could've just jumped on for a photo session 😉
Okay, so that's how it's done on a long arm…Great job! Never doubted you for even a micro second.
You look utterly triumphant in that last photo!
