I thought that title might grab your attention ;o) Do you know my friend Ali? She runs a Liberty crack den fabric shop on Folksy. In the past I have used her fabric to create this wee pressie for Kim:
Having stuffed the purse full of more Liberty lovelies from that same shop raid, Kim then went on to make this beauty, a rather bigger and better effort!
Ali has a number of options for you to get your hands on some Liberty goodness, from fat eights, to mini scrap packs, to her newest pack, Only Ditzies Please! The description in her shop of the newest pack is this:
Like my mini scrap packs, this pack contains the equivalent of ten 5×5 pieces of Liberty Lawn (250 square inches), measured by weight. Unlike my other scrap packs, however, the Only Ditzies Please pack just contains fabric with small prints, so it is especially good for all you ditzy lovers out there.
A mixture of pieces, none of them will measure less than 2 in one dimension, but there will be a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. The only guarantee is that no two will be the same! If you buy more than one scrap bag there may be duplicate fabrics (although I will try to keep them different).
Now being a generous soul, Ali would like to share some of her Liberty with 3 of my readers:
1 winner will receive:
A bundle of 12 mini singles:
Plus a ditzy pack:
2 runners up will each receive:
A ditzy pack:
What do you have to get your hands on these?
1. Answer the following question: What fabulous summery creation would you make from your winnings? (even if you’re in the southern hemisphere I want your summer ideas, I’m trying to dream it into existence and need all the help I can get, especially with snow warnings in Scotland this weekend!!!)
2. For an optional second entry, ‘Like’ Ali’s Facebook page
Entries will close at midnight, BST on Monday 27th May (the end of our long weekend *sniff*) I will announce the lucky winners on Tuesday
Thank you for entering, this giveaway is now closed!

I am hoping to learn how to do cathedral windows at the Stitch Gathering very soon, so I would do a clamshell cushion and a cathedral window cushion for my guest/sewing room. Thanks so much!
Lovely give away. I would like to make a medallion quilt for lounging out on summer nights looking at the stars. We had our long weekend last weekend, enjoy yours.
Oh, I really don't know! Liberty's too good for your usual summer wares (picnic quilt etc) I think that I'd have to make a 'summer quilt' for those days where you've been out in the searing sun all day, can't bear to go inside but need something to keep your bare legs warm when the sun goes down!
I live in Wales and think that this is more of a daydream than anything else!
And I now like Ali's Facebook page.
*sigh* They're gorgeous! Don't hold me to it but I think I'd make a couple of pillowcases for my bed – just the thing to rest my head against on a too-warm summer night. Or a 'just right for me but everyone else is complaining it's cold and wet' summer night ;o)
I'd make a patchwork shawl to protect my neck and shoulders from the sun (or more realistically for our summers, to keep me warm).
If I could find enough Liberty scraps I'd love to make a picnic quilt – or would that guarantee that we didn't get a summer again??
I've already liked Ali's Facebook page.

Oh my I saw that top pic come up on facebook on Wednesday and started dribbling! After I'd spent ages just stroking it I'd let it join and mingle with the other Liberty I've been collecting ready for a Liberty quilt. Summer weight to lie under on those days when it's too hot for a duvet and not hot enough to just have a sheet.
