Phew, I’ve had this day marked down for a few weeks, but life events rather overtook me, and I was doubtful I’d be able to get anything done in time. I managed to get all my loft shifting done on Saturday, which left me with the rest of the weekend to sew, and having got other priorities out of the way, I found time this afternoon to sit down and put a couple of little somethings together.

I broke out my new Patchwork, Please! and knocked up a little teabag pouch, then I amended the trivet pattern to make a little matching coaster to go with it. I will also offer the winner some posh teabags too, but I’ll have to go and buy them first, so the winner can get what flavour they like :oD

I think I would just have some nice English Breakfast tea … I only really like herbal teas with lots of sugar, which defeats the object really! Great giveaway, lovely little teabag pouch x

It's lovely! I'm afraid I'm quite common and only like 'normal' tea ;o) so English Breakfast would be fabulous, especially if they do a decaff version. Not that I'm picky! Actually, a complete surprise would also be nice, if you fancy ignoring what I've just said! Are the windows being fitted this week? I'm a bit lost on the schedule/order or events…

I only like herbal teas ( can't stand normal tea) so I'd fill it with Lemon and Ginger. I'm planning on making one of these to take my teabags to work- so I'd be delighted to not have to do it!

What a fun idea! I'm an herbal tea drinker–usually Stash, as that is a local company and easy to find varieties of. My favorite is a licorice spice, but there lemon ginger will stop a sneezing cold flat, so I always keep some on hand.

Earl Grey is my staple (basically okay with anything but celestial seasonings because for some odd reason they add soy lecithin to the tea leaves and I'm allergic to soy).

My favourite tea doesn't exist anymore I don't think. It was a Whittards one called Russian Caravan but I alo like Ceylon and Jasmine, anything not fruity but a black tea with something subtle going on.

I pretty much like all tea apart from those infusions/teas with chamomile or lemon in them. I guess my fav normal tea is Yorkshire gold. But I'll give anything a go really.

I've been bizarrely unable to find lemon flavored black tea (only herbal lemon) in Texas the past several months. (I know Bigelow makes a nice one, but either they've discontinued it or none of the stores that have all the other Bigelow types carry it anymore.) I'd say Fortmason from Fortnum & Mason, but I doubt that comes in bags and I also have enough to last me a very long time (stocked up last time I was in London (although Air Tran airlines has F&M tea, oddly)).

Oh, lovely! That's a great fabric in the centre of your trivet.

I only really drink herbal tisanes.. I love rooiboos, and things that are a bit fruity tasting. I consume all my caffeine in chocolate form, and find both coffee and real tea kind of bitter. (I do like a London Fog now and then, though. So milky and sweet, though, that the Earl Grey is probably a bit of an afterthought.)

I don't drink caffeine so I always have a few tea bags in a ziplock in my handbag just in case, this seems glamorous by comparison. I would definitely put in a decaf earl grey or two and maybe some camomile/mint.

Those are utterly divine! Such a cute set! My friend helped me develop my love for tea. And I've become terribly picky! For my green teas (love those loose leaf varieties!) I usually get the filters and make my own "bags". Maggie got me hooked on black currant flavored black tea, which is the kind I'd like to get (if you can find it, it's a bit hard to find sometimes).

I noticed you put up a tutorial for the teabag wallet, is there any way you could do something similar for the coaster? I know you said you kinda made it up as you went along. On the other hand, I doubt I could reproduce it as well, you chose fantastic fabrics and have stellar placement! Setting the bar very very high!

How adorable! I need to get back in the habit of drinking tea rather than coffee. I love tea – black, green, yellow, white, etc. I love Assam and English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast and Earl Grey. Generally I prefer caffeinated over herbal. Surprise me!!!!

You can't beat pg tips, it's the pyramid don't you know! Bit hard to put in a tea wallet ha ha. I am trying to be more adventurous but find herbal teas never taste as good as they smell, enlighten me!
