So you know how Carl was meant to be getting a new home this week? Well that didn’t happen… Instead, I did my Brit Bee blocks, my ATC swap card, got a bath mat done that I’d planned for months and suddenly did on a whim on Friday and Sunday nights, and started on a whole new project that I lie squarely at the feet of the inimitable Mrs Jones, who planted ideas in my head during my loft incarceration on Saturday. I’ve got about 3 new ideas for things too, for when I get a minute…

To Be Worked On This Week:
The new quilt, just to get it out of the way.
Carl? He was being a fussy little so and so last week, hence he got relegated to the WIP pile again, so we’ll see…
Linking up, as ever, to:
Ooo, interested to see what your new quilt is. Juliex
I like impromptu projects and last minute creations.
I have just done an impromptu project. When an idea takes hold it is hard not to start work right away. Can not wait to see what yours is.
Poor Carl, he must be getting used to that WIP pile by now 🙂
Oh I just love Circa 1934! I think this is my biggest non-purchase regret. I should have bought yards of it but I hummed and haaed too long and ended up not buying any!
You sound just a little busy! Love your bee block; I have just started mine and all the pinning is really grating on me!
They're great these blocks popping up for Jo – it will be interesting to see them altogether.
You just have to run with it when a cool new idea pops into your head because its my experience that those little buggers just keep harassing you until you do something about it.
those triangles look wonderful. Must make some project with triangles!!!!
Mmm interested to see what becomes of the layer cake!
The triangles look lovely, and Circa 1934 is such a beautiful fabric.
Yay for new projects! Look forward to seeing your ATC card :o)
Oooh lovely. Nicky sew and sow has been working with grey and coloured triangles too, im getting tempted!
Love the Brit Bee block, very pretty. Are you doing the very berry ATC? I've signed up for that one and having much fun deciding what to do.
