Whew, it was another busy weekend here, although thankfully no-one trapped me in a loft for 12 hours this week! Saturday was mostly spent touring the east end of Glasgow in the pouring rain to the delights of Asda, to find a frying pan for my gran, the tip, to dump a load of old magazines unearthed during the recent house-shifting-about into the recycling (we don’t have recycling bins, don’t get me started…), to the sorting office, to ransom a parcel, and finally to my grans, to shift some stuff out of her loft and into mine. Needless to say, sewing was not really a priority that day, although I made up for it on Sunday. This coming weekend I’m off down south to play with my Brit Bee buddies, so I imagine there will be much eating, drinking and being merry, but probably not a lot of sewing ;o)
Finishes For This Week:
Carl got rehomed finally! I’ll share photos in his own post later in the week, he’s primping himself up in anticipation…
In Progress This Week:
I got the ‘alternative’ top done for the sew along that Katy instigated:
I also got the camera inserts finished for the Bag Along, but they’re not really exciting enough to warrant a photo!
I started on a new project too, but alas, it’s secret sewing time again, sorry!
To Be Worked On This Week:
Continue the secret sewing project
Finish another secret sewing project
Find something for next week that isn’t secret ;o)
Hope you have a great week! Linking up, as ever, to:
Oooooo love your Circa 1934 quilt … are you going to quilt it yourself? Your to-do list made me chuckle – make sure you do (3) find something not secret for next week or it's going to be a very short blog post!!
Glad to hear Carl has finally been liberated! Look forward to seeing him in all his primped up glory 🙂
With all that merriment and goofing around maybe tis a good thing there won't be any sewing. I would hate to see "straight seams" after a few……hiccup.
Hugs and have a wonderful outing.
Such a lot of secrets. And a lovely new quilt top. Juliex
Loving that quilt top but you are wearing me out with all this activity!
Im exhausted reading about all this busy-ness. And yes – A non secret project would be handy for those of us that need pictures in posts !
do you have a secret box…. Sounds like nice things come out of that secret box. Your quilt is lovely.
Oooo-ooooh! Really digging that quilt top – great fabrics, especially against the white.
Still lovin' the quilt!
You made the quilt top already!!
You got a lot finished on that quilt…and secret sewing is fun even if you can't show us.
Geez more secrets? Love your circa quilt so I guess that'll have to keep me happy 😉
Secret squirrel??
