We’ve been getting our culture on today over at the Carriers De Lumieres in Les Baux. It’s an amazing light show projected onto the walls of the old limestone quarries, and each year there is a different theme. This year it’s the Impressionist painters, and others shortly after that period, who favoured the Med. As a lover of the Impressionists, it was quite enchanting to be standing in the middle of a painting or two!

I love those kind of light shows – they do them here during Fringe festival and project all manner of things onto buildings. It looks amazing.
I lived in Cezanne landscape as a student – near Montagne Sainte Victoire – the real thing rather than the painting
