What do you bring your bee-mate, hostess with the mostess, who is offering you a lovely Sunday morning breakfast on your sojourn home?
Well I brought Terri about 1 1/2 kilos of cherries of course! At, wait for it, €2.50/kilo… Makes you want to weep thinking of what we pay for a measly few hundred grams in Tesco or Sainsbury’s!
She’s already made off with a bunch of them to a picnic, so I think they went down well :oD
Yummy! We had cherries for breakfast 🙂
Oh lovely cherries!!
They look soooooo good !
Hanging for cherry season here.
Ooh! Frozen cherries with chocolate dipping sauce! Heaven 🙂
Oooh, cherries! The season is just starting here. I better get on it!
My mum's favourite fruit are Cherries. If she saw this she'd be drooling big time. I Bought her a teeny tiny punnet in Asda yesterday for £1. But there were about 8 cherries in it I@m sure!
They look very yummy cherries. We pay about $8.00 a kg. here in the summer.
Just that photo is enough to whet the appetite. Gorgeous!
ah! Cherries are heaven and at that price…well done
Blimey, you could have dropped some at my parents'!!
I have no idea what you pay at Tescos. we only get cherries at Christmas and then it's about $24/kg. So stop your whining or gloating, whichever it is.
(But I bet ours are bigger than yours).
