It’s less than a week to go now until I’ll find myself at Patchwork In The Peaks organised by Elita and in the presence of friends both new and old. Other than the class that I’m teaching, I will get the chance to learn the following:
- Cleaning My Machine – I’m pretty good about this already, but I’m sure I’m missing something!
- Quilting & Piecing 101 – maybe I’ll get past my HST phobia ;o)
- Texas Teardrops
- Free Motion Quilting – I could definitely do with a practice of this!
In our non-class time I have a project that I’ve been meaning to do since, oooh, last December, when the patterns came out!

I figure if I get the applique pieces sorted out beforehand, I should be able to at least sew them in place when I’m there – what do you think?
Nooooo, that's such a cool pattern! I hope you have time to finish some pillows for yourself. 🙂
what's a Texas Teardrop? Like those pillows
Yep- prep that applique and do it between classes…it looks like a great project. At least if you only get a little bit done you will have made a start!
I love your cushions. Perparation saves heaps of time. I have to keep telling myself that.
Great class list – that cushion is on my to do list as well :o)
Texas Teardrops?! I've never heard of them… Those cushions are so you, but I bet you get distracted by lots of other fun things while you're away… you are going to have such a great time.
Love that cushion cover! Hope you get time to start and finish
Love that bus! It looks like fun, I hope it goes smashingly!
I like the look of that pattern, you go for it.
If you are still sick you should be able to make three!
Good luck with the cushions hope there aren't too many distractions for you to get them finished, although I suspect there might be 🙂
So excited for you Katy, and love the cushion!
Have a fab time, love the dak dak cushions (not sure why, but we've always called them that, the noise they make maybe?)
have a wonderful time and I am sure you can get at least one camper van finished.
