First up the good news – Elita, who runs Patchwork In The Peaks where I’m teaching next month, has an offer on in her shop at the moment whereby if you buy thread, or batting and thread you will get a free Aurifil cotton thread card with your purchase. Check out her blog post for more info.
I love mine, which I won last year from the lovely Angela at Cut To Pieces, a very useful tool :o)
Now the bad news (although you may think it good news too!) I’ll hold my hands up, I’ve been totally slacking off on the EATKS sew along for the past 3 months. I’ve had loads of other things to do, and I had also totally run out of easily available tools to review. Also, none of you seemed to notice ;o) Just kidding. Kind of.
So I’ve decided to end it all…
I’ll leave the page up there, so you can still see how to do things, it you happen to take the notion, but for now, the sink is blocked, and the taps have run dry…
Oh now I feel bad that i didn't notice 😉
I adore my aurifil card too, that's a great offer
Wow, was the teapot class really that bad?!!! Sorry to hear the plumbings gone, but feeling sorrier that I was one of the ones to contribute to the blockage… x
Wowee, I wish I could get an updated color card (mine's from a couple of years ago)… I somehow doubt it'll work out to be a good deal with the shipping, though. Shucks.
Aw, poor kitchen sink! Full of dishes! 😀
It just goes to show the last 3 months have flown by!!!
Well sometimes our pipes bet blocked and we are all up the spout. Priorities is the word.
Hugs
For the record, I did notice, but I'm crap at paper piecing still. (Through no fault of you. Your tutorials on it are fab. I'm just spatially challenged.)
I hope you leave the posts up, I did find them helpful and interesting. Just no time to make blocks at the moment. If at some point in future an idea to do another strikes, you could just continue with randomly interspaced kitchen sink posts.
So sorry I wasn't able to get involved K! Time continues to elude me! Jxo
I so like you and your spirit. See? Folks were paying attention. Me too! Its just difficult to join into everything out there. We love your creativity, though! Keep the pages up there, please.
I did notice, but thought with how busy you've been you'd decided to take a break from it :o)
All good things must come to an end? I hope you keep the posts up too. I agree with Leanne, post random kitchen sink posts as they are helpful 🙂
Are you going to make the mini Texas Vag quilt? The Retreat looks pretty cool x
Gotta love change, as there is nothing wrong with changing things up. Do hope you enjoy next month..I would adore to attend! 🙂
Change is a good thing, as Shanna said. You have a lot going on and you have to move and adapt. 🙂
