If #1 is the Spitfire, it felt only fair that Model Aeroplane #2, with its Jubilee bunting flags (from Terry’s Fabrics) and its Scottie dogs (local fabric shop) celebrating all things British, be the most British of planes, and being larger than the Spitfire, the Lancaster Bomber was the most appropriate.
This is the last of the 3 Aeroplane Bags that I’m making as part of my class prep for my Patchwork In The Peaks class in a couple of weeks. It is from the long pattern, printed 2-up:

This is a little taller to let that row of Scotties keep their feet, and less boxed than the original pattern |

I added a zipped outer pocket, carefully placed between the bunting |

Lining in Sketch with one inner pocket |
Bet you’re glad to see the back of these now ;o) I’ll report back after the class how it all went!
All together now,

You are on a roll! I love how careful you were with your prints!
I love the Scotties! I'm really impressed with how smooth that exterior zipper turned out using the laminated cotton (on both of your bags actually). How was the laminated experience?
I'm glad you let the scotties keep their feet. I think this is my favourite of your aeroplane bags.
lovely bag again, but I'm all the more curious to find out your plans for the amazing Echino collection… lol
