This month it was Val’s turn in Stitch Tease, and she chose a flock of geese in raspberry, gold and a little dark grey with whites, creams and soft greys in the background. I might have whimpered a lot little because triangles and I have a bit of a hate-hate relationship, and also because my pink and varied low volume selection is woeful. Still, I dug through my FQs, my charm swaps and my scraps and came up triumphant on the fabric front, and the triangles turned out not too awful…
Now for the love of god, will the rest of my bees avoid too much more LV before the Black Friday sales?! Please and thank you.
**Reminder to anyone who wants to play along with the last quarter of the FAL with Leanne, the link up closes tonight at midnight MST (which is 7am in the UK) Hurry on over for your last chance to win prizes for this year!
Looks fabulous
This makes me want to sew flying geese! I love it!!
Fab block, love it, well done! I am next month, and there isn't much in the way of LV, maybe a little round the outside of the blocks :o)
It is beautiful Katy. Now stock up on LV on Black Friday… lol
ooooh all those little triangles to measure and cut, mine would be at an angle of 45 degrees!
Those geese look gorgeous! I'm getting low on LV too 🙂
You did brill – make sure you save 2 x LV squares for my siggie ; xxx
I think they're great, what do you mean "not too awful"?!
I love Val's blocks. You did good.
Your triangles look fantastic to me!
really cute – that would make an excellent mini all on it's own!
You did well, especially considering they are dreaded triangles !
Looking good!
I LOVE IT!!! Thank you thank you! I'm sorry if it was a stressful block! For what it's worth, your fabric selection is spot on and your piecing is perfection. I'm so excited about this quilt!!
That turned out great! Now you just have to wait a whole month(?) for sales… :}
I live what you've done with the flying geese. I still need to make my block for Val
These are gorgeous! Well done! And it's tough when you're stash develops deficits at a budget-unfriendly time, eh? 🙂
