Yesterday you saw my full sized Tohoku Tote from I Am Momma, Hear Me Roar, which I reviewed as part of Purse Palooza over at Sew Sweetness, and today I have a mini version to show off. Unfortunately I didn’t get this quite completed in time for the review, but I thought you might like to see it anyway:
To make this I printed the pattern at 2 per page, using the multi-page option in the Adobe Acrobat print window. I chose the Option 1 bow for this one, but otherwise I made this the same as its big brother.
Here are the two together so you can see the size difference:
I think the wee one will make a perfect wee bag for a night out, in fact I’m tempted to find an LBD for this to accompany to the work Christmas party (2 months might actually give me a chance to find a dress…)
Now if you’ve been channelling your inner bag lady over the last few weeks, don’t forget to link up to Sara’s post here before 12th November at midnight EST for a chance to win a ton of prizes as part of Purse Palooza. There’s still some giveaways going on too, so hop to it!
It is cute and good luck with the dress, surely there is great shopping in Edinburgh?
That's an amazing Christmas party bag! And I need about that long to find a LBD, too.
Oooo I Like the mini a lot!! Have fun dress shopping, I hope you find a yellow one to match the bow. Or some yellow shoes at least.
Oh that is really cute!
So cute!
Great mini!
You're right that would make a great Christmas party bag. I'd make one myself only I never get invited to any Christmas parties 🙂
I do believe that this is the perfect pattern for a donation purse I was asked to make. Cute and simply. Very classy!
These are both so lovely! Jxo
Me and mini me… 🙂 couldn't find the post on Sara's blog. having one of those days…
Ooh that's sweet, I think I like the diddy one better!
Lovely! I am more likely to make the mini purse than to find a LBD I like! Good luck with your hunt 🙂
How cute! I hope you show us an outfit picture when you find your LBD to coordinate. 😀
Wow, these really grew on me! I love how tidy and crisp they are and the details are sublime!
Aren't they pretty! Lovely bags!
