Wednesday again, and welcome to anyone that didn’t get blown or washed away over the weekend (seriously bad wind and rain hit this little set of islands!). I spent a big chunk of last weekend working, and when I wasn’t, cooking enough to last me a week for every meal, as I knew the work thing wasn’t going to let up! I did get to use my tablet to trawl through all the BQF entries though, which inspired me to sew, even if I couldn’t leap to it there and then, and I also watched some Craftsy classes I’d been putting off til I had time (or, you know, I was forced away from the sewing machine to babysit a work laptop ;o) ) So I guess what I’m trying to say is I didn’t accomplish much…
Finishes This Week:
Nada, niet, rien…
In Progress This Week:
I got these sewed together to make a wall hanging top, but I have a question for you guys on it on Friday, so I’ll show it off then:
I also got a bit done on this guy while babysitting the work laptop:
Then the inspiration from BQF inspired me to dig this out again, which is not on my FAL list for this quarter because I thought I wasn’t going to touch it (it’s been on every other quarter this year naturally…)
To Be Worked On This Week:
I’m hoping you’ll help with my Liberty dilemma
I’d like to get his lordship all stuffed and ready to fly
And I’d like to play more with that Echo.
The one upside to this week is getting to play with Fiona on a sew date, so she can hand over the start of her Brit Bee Medallion so I can add the next round. Hope you all have a fun week! Linking up, as ever, to:
The storm seem to completely pass us by in about 10 minutes!
Love the peek of that Liberty!
Glad you had fun with Fi 🙂 Really loving the look of the wee fella, even in that state!
Put the bear together!! I'm looking forward to the Liberty reveal on Friday.
Ooohhh that Liberty is gorgeous…looking forward to Friday and the big reveal and question…
That poor bear looks a bit discombobulated! He'll be hoping your laptop babysitting continues for a while longer 🙂
The Echo blocks look amazing – cute bear too:)
Finishes are sometimes overrated! Good job on all the progress, the little guy is shaping up to be so adorable!
Nice projects, and how fun to have a liberty dilemma.
I know well having the urge to sew but not having the time to do so. Hope work settles down for you soon
Looking forward to our date 🙂
What Craftsy classes did you get to watch? I'm like that, too — I want to watch those, but when I have free time, I'd rather sew. :}
