So things were a little busy this last week, what with jetting off around the continent and all, but I did manage to get 2 bee blocks done, so it wasn’t a total loss. Oh, and I taught a fabulous bunch of women how to make the Aeroplane Bag, can I count those 10 finishes too? I think I can, right? Apologies for not having caught up on my blog reading yet, I’ve been trying to get a bunch of other things sorted out so I can do that this weekend…
Finishes This Week:
Emily’s blocks for October in the Modern Stitching Bee, with apologies to my fellow Peaksters for the language that occurred during the making thereof:
In Progress This Week:
I got all of my buses fused, all a little different both from each other and from the pattern (don’t iron tired people!) then I got thwarted by a ‘generic’ free motion foot on my borrowed machine that turned out not to be so generic after all, so I sat and chatted instead, which as we all know, I totally hate to do…

To Be Worked On This Week:
Finishing my voile/velveteen behemoth
Finishing my bus cushions (after which I have no more excuses about decorating the spare room where they’re going to live)
Hope you’ve all had a great week, linking up, as ever, to:
You have the best excuse to not have gotten much finished.
Nice blocks and i love that bus cushion, i had fun making joans and she loves it!
Every time I see someone make those blocks for Emily I fall a little more in love.
Love those log cabin blocks, Katy. And your buses – so cute!
You've just saved me loads of work! I have been asked to make a VW bus cushion and I didn't know at all about this pattern, thank you Katy :o)
Hey! I'm working on a bus pillow too! For my son-in-law's birthday on the 16th. I don't think I'm going to make the date though. I don't have anything fused to the background yet, but the pieces are cut out!
Love the colors in the log cabin blocks. They are the same, but different.
Thank you :o) It was a bit of a struggle finding all those dark blues in my stash mind you!
The log cabin blocks look wonderful – probably aided in part by all the cussing.
I really do like those cushions…Happy to pop over and help you style your spare room- I like doing stuff like that.

Great blocks, can't imagine why they would have caused any unladylike language!

You are a busy bee! Congratulations on your bag making teaching debut (apologies if you have done this before and I missed it!). There is nothing nicer than sitting down with a cuppa, a biscuit and lots of blog reading to catch up with!
You always make the best bee blocks. You'll get your VW cushion done this week.
