Have you heard about Lucy’s new genius idea?
You know all those craft mags that you buy with free gifts on them? The ones that you collect but never actually use? (I soooo know this isn’t just me and Lucy here!) Well now’s the time to start making them up to give as wee gifts this Christmas – to teachers, secret santas, whatever, time to crack open those envelopes.
Here’s what I’m starting with, although please note that there’s several crochet ones and I can’t actually crochet…
We’ll see how many of them actually get made, but the first step is admitting you have a problem, right?!
I have seen a few posts about this. But you know I don't have a single one. Maybe if I actually bought craft magazines in the first place?!
Oh, I completely have that problem too. But there's no chance I'll get any of them made so I don't think I'm any further forward for admitting the problem! Juliex
I have cross stitch ones going back years, I reckon if I hang on to them long enough they will become vintage and valuable 🙂
I don't buy a lot of magazines or maybe Aussie magazines donn't have these. So are you going to learn how to crochet?
wow, what a fantastic stash you have there. Have fun making these lovelies.
This is a great idea, I've got a few kits I should dig out
Great idea . I dont buy craft magazines but I bet I could find a few bits and pieces at the op shop – I might make this a focus for next year !
Move along everyone, I see no problem her at all!!!
Well, I am wishing I bought lots of magazines now. Glad I am not the only one who can't crochet
Time to learn to crochet, I'm thinking. You know you want to and it's dead simple.
LOL yes, I might have a problem. I too think it might be time to learn to crochet 🙂
good free gift in this month's Crafty, another fox and squirrel felt thing. I had millions of free cross stitch but gave them all to my neighbour a couple of years ago for the WI
Yes you have a few there!! Thank you for going in, Im not sure what to do with the crochet ones either!!
Find a you tube tutorial and get crocheting! It really is fun and quite easy to pick up. Perhaps start with your stitchy ones though as a diversion into new skills this close to Christmas could be lethal!
What a cool idea! I don't buy craft magazines, so I didn't know that you often get freebies with them, but if I did, I'd totally want to craft along with you guys. 😀
