When Would You Like To Bag Along?

You may or may not be pleased to hear that I’m finally at the point where I might have the pattern for my Whole Lotta Bag ready for release (well, by next weekend anyway).

Now there are several questions following that in relation to the ‘Bag Along’ that I had previously suggested holding for it:

  1. Would you like the patten to be released at the same time as the proposed bag along, or are you happy for them to be separate?
  2. Either way, when would you prefer to do a bag along?  I’m thinking at this point in the year, after Christmas would probably be preferable for all, but I thought I’d give you the option to vote!
  3. Does anyone need a reminder of the supplies list prior to the bag along?  There’s some hardware to stock up on that isn’t too common in the local fabric shop.

    I doubt that I'll be able to take part, much as I'd like to. But if I was I think I'd want a list of supplies (and if possible sources for anything tricky) in advance. I like to be organised, although you probably wouldn't believe that if you saw me trying to get out of the house on school mornings with multiple children and two dogs! juliex

    1. Release pattern a little before
    2. after Christmas
    3. Reminder yes

    I'd love to! After Christmas. Supply list (at least for the bits that may be hard to get) early.

    I would definitely like to have the pattern and supply list in advance so that I don't end up having to cut up a bag for the hardware again 🙂

    Making this as a Christmas present sounds nice but realistically after Christmas is probably more practical!

    Well done, no mean feat getting to this stage. Won't join you as I have my own Bag project starting in January in class but good luck with the pattern.

    1) Whatever works for you in terms of when the pattern is released, I don't think it matters too much.
    2) After Christmas
    3) Yes to supplies reminder, maybe a week or two before the sew along starts? I'm probably not going to shop for the parts now.
