So it turns out that all I needed was a really good night out to bring back my sewjo. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still totally bunged up with the cold, and I woke up this morning entirely unable to breath through my nose, but last night’s Christmas party was a good one.
Now what to do today when the weather outside is frightful? Well I started by making June a matching pouch for her bag so that she can keep any wee bits and pieces together while she’s away. I made an Open Wide Zipper Pouch from the tutorial Anna at Noodlehead did a couple of years ago. It’s the first time I tried one, but I do like how they open nice and wide!
As for the next project… well I guess we’ll see what comes out tomorrow!
Sorry about your stuffed up nose and all that but glad that your night out was a success and that your sewing muse has returned. I'm sure June will just love the pouch too!
I hope you feel better and glad to hear the party was fun. The pouch is lovely and will go nicely with that bag.
I love that pattern – they are great sized pouches. Glad your night out was a good 'un!
A good night out is usually the answer! Love the pouch, I have a few of the wide open ones.
Great pouch! And lovely bag from the other day too 🙂
Maybe the alcohol helped with your mojo (although it often has the opposite effect the day after with me) . Cant wait to see what you get up to today…can you send me some of your mojo please? I have curtains waiting to be sewn!
See Margaret knows best :).
It's one of my favourite pouch patterns too. I hope your cold improves for Christmas!
Now that is a beautiful pouch! I hope you get better soon. I think sewing will help you get better.
I hope the sniffles go. Your pouch is so pretty.
Yay! Welcome back!!! Fab pouch 🙂
the pouch and drawstring bag are beauts. I have visions of you using up every last scrap of fabric and the bags getting smaller and smaller like a set of russian dolls.
ps hope you feel better soon
Hope you feel better soon chick! Jxo
