Last weekend was the first in a while that I didn’t have to be anywhere (other than 4 hours to do my Commonwealth Games initial orientation on Saturday), and I wasn’t ill.  It was quite disconcerting, but really rather nice!  Of course in a fit of forgetfulness I’ve managed to book myself two places to be this Friday night, about 10 miles apart, but let’s not split hairs ;o)  Anyway, I finished a wee bear last week, finished re-quilting the rainbow on Saturday (and am about 2/3 of the way through end burying hell now), and started a new project on Sunday, finally playing about with some of the handprinted fabric scrap packs I’ve been hoarding over the last couple of years.  This weekend might be even more productive (Friday night aside), who knows!

Finishes This Week:

Meet Lockheart (as named by Lucy), started over 2 years ago, and left with just his ears to attach and his stuffing seams to close until last week – oops!  I can now get over the guilt complex from the reproachful look I kept getting from his perch in his bag…

In Progress This Week:

It’s nearly done, honest!

And these panels, which will become part of a bag (apologies for the IG pics).  Fabrics from Blueberry Park, Umbrella Prints and Lucie Summers.

To Be Worked On This Week:

I will finish the rainbow.  I will.  I will.  Although I’m getting a touch of RSI from the thread burying!
I have a teeny bit of secret sewing to do
Then I might get back to the QAYG panels
I also got a new commission…
