Hello, long time no check in! Well, okay, only a few weeks but it feels like forever… Anyway, I have actually managed to sew a couple of things in the interim in between working round the clock, family entertaining and Commonwealths prep, oh yes, and that little list of over 400 finishes I had to check *ahem* My blog reading has slipped again, and my IG interactions are zip right now, but I’m just about still breathing, and really hoping it’s all going to calm down soon.
Finishes This Week:
A little secret sewing I’ve been doing, which will get its full reveal later this week:
Stitch Tease bee block #1 for Trina, who asked for stars in a mixture of mustards, aquas and greys:
In Progress This Week:
I have the template cut for Trina’s remaining star, I just need to assemble it.
To Be Worked On This Week:
Trina’s star
Anneliese’s HSTs from June
Sarah’s spider web in reverse
Cloning myself
Hope you all have a great week! Linking up with Lee and the gang.
Amazing – you successfully captured the fabulous colour of the Oakshott cottons!
Let me know how you do on "cloning yourself". Would love the pattern for that one!
Both of those are sooooo pretty! 🙂
Busy, busy! If it helps I'm not in a mad rush for the bee blocks so you could let them slip a couple of weeks with no guilt necessary.
Bah, your text is all showing is blurry, and I can't read it, but the orange, red purple looks fab! X
Laughing at yur list which includes cloning yourself. If you work out how to do that – please let me know the trick!
If you learn how to clone yourself, you'll make so much money that you'd never have to work again, then you wouldn't need to clone yourself! Great sewing
Ooh, Oakshott! And your star is so tidy…I really need to figure out this paper piecing business.
Cloning could be quite dangerous. Two of you? 🙂
wow, what a beauty made out of Oakshoots, looking forward to the reveal. Love the star, too.
Feel free to send that Oakshott piece my way…be happy to take it off your hands. You know, decrease your work load and all…
Can't wait to see your Oakshott reveal! Those are just sooooo dreamy! 🙂
Can't wait to see more of the Oakshott – sure looks like Ruby Red to me!
Loving the sneaky peek so far. Don't forget to breathe.
Oh I can't wait for the reveal!
Great sneak peek and I love that bee block!
You forgot to fit some sleeping in there, or you will collapse!!! Good luck with the cloning!
That stitch tease block looks like a tricky yoga pose. Love the sneaky peek!!
I feel your pain. Hopefully things calm Dow soon!
On the upside – that stat click is fabulous!
I'm glad you still have time for you ; )
I love the secret sewing sneak peek – these colours are so rich. And your star is perfect.
Now I'm eagerly waiting for the results on your cloning enterprise – I could use this for my day job sometimes 😉
Wowee! that oakshot piece is looking dreamy!! XX!!!
