It’s Tuesday, so time to turn the spotlight on another of our fabulous Finish Along sponsors. This quarter, for the first time, we welcome my friend Melissa from Sew Bittersweet Designs:
Melissa is offering up a complete set of her patterns, but I thought I’d take you on a wee wander through my favourites because, you know, it’s my blog and I can ;o)
Firstly, this Quilted Crossroads one is a little bit of a mind bender, but I like its almost Escher-like quality, which would certainly make it a contender in the ‘spot the block’ challenge at the start of the Decipher Your Quilts series Leanne and Jess have been running!
The Dizzying Diamonds also, as its name suggests, makes some great patterns, but you could totally play about with this to your heart’s content depending on the fabrics you chose:
All Framed Up totally appeals to my inner anti-quilt block rebel, seeing as it’s effectively just one big block!
And speaking of one big block, how about this Flowering Lone Star one:
Or how about the baby Bursting Lone Stars to finish:
You can even be super smart like Melissa and do the last two back to back!
So pop on over and check out Melissa’s store to see what I missed out!
Thanks Katy! I'm so excited to be a sponsor!
She creates awesome patterns 🙂
Oooh, lovely designs
I think the dizzying diamonds would be cool in black and white. The lone star quilt is great too, love the green in it
The stars have my vote …cant go past a great star quilt.
I love the first one. Both pattern and colours. I could spot the block quite easily, but that's probably my more traditional bent coming through 🙂
