Umm, yeah, no sewing here this week, this week has been all about 90th birthdays, parties and trips to see the Great Tapestry of Scotland, then the deep cleaning of the flat up until Monday, and then yesterday it was all about making lists, and spending an afternoon and evening with a visiting stitchy friend and her husband.
I haven’t any in progress pics to show you of sewing, but here’s what I have made…
And here’s some pretty fabric to tide you over:
Cuddle fleece to finish off a kit I started sometime near the beginning of last week:
Leather scraps of every colour under the rainbow:
And some larger leather pieces for some experimental projects I have coming up:
Oh, and here’s the other things I’ve been playing with this week:
Maybe next week there will be sewing…
MAD Lego upholstery- I love those seats!!
Love that MINI!! My daughter has just gotten into legos and I was admiring this kit for myself! The details they put in legos now are amazing! Hope you are starting to feel more like yourself.
Ooh, your leather looks like fun!
Laughing at Alli's comment above. Taken out of context that could mean all sorts of things.
Love that Lego mini. Makes me want to run out and buy a ton of Lego for myself ….
Brilliant! I reckon playing with lego must come a very close 2nd to the joy of sewing!
that lego mini is astounding! I love it!!
gotta go! I'm sitting here enjoying your blog and drooling over that leather and pondering what you're gonna make, instead of making pies. I may get hit by lightening! (then we'd all be sad) XX!
I am glad you are enjoying the lego, and it sounds like you are getting nicely organized too.
The lego mini is so cute – our next door neighbour has a mini Cooper which is pretty cool too!
I hadn't seen the Lego mini- it looks great! *when* you come and do my bag 1 to 1 class I can take you to legoland if you like, only about 7 miles away! Are you still off work?
Very cool mini! Do they do Åland rover? I know someone who would love that!
I have been making the mini too, got it for my birthday last Saturday!
A lego mini! that is so cool! I wonder if lego does a sewing machine? The Great Tapestry of Scotland would have been a treat to see. You've got lots of fun creative piles waiting for your attention.
Sounds like a pretty good week to me.
Plus cool lego.
Hope you're enjoying your break and your stress levels are coming down
i do love a fresh stack of stationary…. cant wait for my pics of the flat…. :-p
I'm going to have to get my hubby that lego mini now … British racing green, no less!
No one is ever too old for Lego.
Hugs Kay
Now you've practised your deep cleaning techniques is there any chance you're going to travel south to hone them at mine?
You're legos are just so amazing! Mad Skills woman! I can't wait to see what you do with the leather.
