There was marginally less gallivanting about this week than last, but my mum and dad were up for the weekend so dad and I explored the ‘Carpark In The Sky’ and the Transport Museum for some photos. I did a few other adminy things and watched some rugby, oh, and I sewed a wee bit too. This coming weekend I have absolutely nothing planned, I think it’s probably time for a wee rest!
Finishes This Week:
I got my January Stitch Tease blocks for Di done (don’t worry, she’s on holiday so gave us a few extra weeks grace ;o) ) They’re scrappy trip blocks, but I might have overdone the colours a bit!
In Progress This Week:
I’ve now got all the 9″ Cherie blocks completed and my first wee 6″ block done too, so the collection is growing. Just 18 more 6″ ones to go! Think that might be what gets done during some of the rugby this weekend…
To Be Worked On This Week:
Quilt Now Issue 10 project
Stitch Tease February blocks (I’ve got the templates printed out at least!)
Cherie 6 inchers
Linking up with Lee and the gang:
I like the bright scrappy! Fabulous Cherie blocks too 🙂 hope you have a restful weekend!
How can you sew during rugby!!!! Unbelievable. I love the colors in the trip along.
Your Cherie blocks looks fabulous!
I love the colors in the scrappy trip around the world blocks. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who does not!
Your Cherie blocks are looking great! I like seeing Jack in the corner, too. 😀
I love those Cherie blocks! The colors you picked are so fun.
I love both the colourful ST blocks and the Cherie blocks – completely different looks but all gorgeous!
As far as I'm concerned you can never overdo colour! Both sets of blocks are gorgeous in totally different ways. Good luck having a relaxing weeknd. Knowing you , I'm sure you'll pack a ton of stuff into your rest time regardless of any plans otherwise.
The pops of pink in the grey Cherie blocks are just beautiful!
Scrappy trips are the best, I think they suit loud riotous colour. It's great to see those pretty Cherie blocks filling up your design wall. Have fun watching rugby.
that there cherie is shaping up to be my favouritestest thing you've done (excluding bears obvs…) xxx
I spy with my little eye….. something that starts with L….. T……
Great quilts.
Fab colours for the scrappy trip, and the Cherie looks great, but I'm sure it looks better every time you show it!
The colours are great thanks. Don't think you can overdo them!
Beautiful blocks, the Cherie quilt is going to be amazing!
Those Cherry blocks are just amazing. I love each and every one of them, they will make one stunning quilt. Love the scrappy trip blocks too, so wonderfully colorful and happy looking.
