So I still haven’t got a new bathroom, but as of today, I also don’t have an old one. Well, apart from the toilet, he is plumbing that back in each night! You’ll be pleased to know that there’s a shower in the office, so I won’t be stinky…
Anywho, with the rest of my week off for the bathroom that wasn’t, I got my friend’s baby quilt done, just in time for its recipient to arrive on Monday! I’ve also been writing up another pattern, and doing lots of grown up adminny things for the business. I will admit to feeling slightly like this by Sunday:
Finishes This Week:
This is now a baby quilt, all will be revealed later this month:
In Progress This Week:
I’ve been writing up my Rainy Days And Monday’s pattern and trying out some new interfacing – Bosal’s In R Form single sided fusible. I had picked up a sample at Market last May, but there wasn’t enough to make something from, and at the time I struggled to find UK stockists. I was able to track some down for a trial run, and I absolutely love the shape it give the bag – this is pretty heavy home dec weight fabric and leatherette, and this is it standing up with absolutely nothing inside stuffing it to keep its shape!
To Be Worked On This Week:
Bee blocks – I have February’s Stitch Tease, and I might as well do March’s as well to get them all out of the way!
Finish Rainy Days And Monday’s pattern
Have a fun day on Saturday with my local peeps at the SECC
Linking up with Lee and the gang:
that looks great! It is a shame that it is so hard to get the good stuff
Yay to a toilet and a baby quilt! Did the tickets from me arrive? I'd forgotten about them, hope you have a great time.
I love that picture! :D:D I'm glad the plumber is putting the toilet back in every night… >_< Anyway, your bag is looking great! Is Bosal like fusible Soft & Stable? It sounds familiar, but I'm too lazy to google. :>
OMG THE BATHROOMS GONE? awesome! so happy for you! xxxx
All that extra time now that you don't have a bathroom. Giggle.
I've been scoping out all the local loos in case it runs into the weekend!

Great bag, love the tartan fabric
Our bathroom is going to need replacing in the next few years. Really not sure how we'll manage whilst it's being done. I envy people with 2 or more!
It's a challenge! I was going to use the loo in the local library if they'd come when they were meant to!
Love that dog picture! Looks like pretty useful stabiliser if it gives your bag that much shape.
I love ❤️❤️❤️the bag
I love that doggie, very recognisable …
And i look forward to that quilt
As you'll be looking forward to your new bathroom …
The bag looks so great! I really like the shape of it. Awesome job getting the baby quilt done in time for the new arrival. That is always a struggle for me! 😀 I hope your bathroom is in full working order soon!
I'm actually curious about a curvy rainbow pic I can see in your instagram feed. What can I say, I'm addicted to curves lately
