Whew, it was quite the chaotic week hitting several deadlines, but I enjoyed taking some time out to spend with my local sewing blogger friends on Saturday at the Century Of Style exhibition at Kelvingrove.  I was reminded, as I waited for everyone to congregate, why I love this museum so, I mean where else in the world would you have directions to the loos that go ‘Head towards the Spitfire over the elephant and go down the stairs by Elvis’?  Anyway, we had fun wandering around the 19th century garments, debating the horrors of corsets and bustles and how on earth you would ever sit down!  We followed this up with lunch at Montgomery’s, where eggs benedict come on a slab of brioche a good inch thick, and about half a pig, definitely somewhere to revisit when up at the museum.

Finishes This Week:

This is a sneak peek at Issue 18 for Quilt Now…

This little lot has now been turned into a project for Poppies And Polka Dots which should be appearing over there shortly:

We’ve also released the January quilting class for the Stitchery – next session there will be 2 options, one beginner’s version, and one a beginner’s + version.

In Progress This Week:

I’ve very nearly finished quilting this.  Alas, Christa (well, her voice from the book that I heard) said pebbles for the LV bits – my shoulders might forgive me sometime next week ;o)

To Be Worked On This Week:

I’m working on Sunday this week, but on the flip side I’ll be off work all next week – yay!  I’m hoping to:

Finish the mini and post it off
Get another secret project well under way
Pack a few wee projects for a trip up north with my camera

Hope you all have a great week!  Linking up with Lee and the gang:
