I’ve finally got to the bottom of my missing Quilt Now issues. The lazy arsed postman did not, in fact, fail to deliver them. He just failed to deliver the note to say something was wrong with my direct debit so they assumed it had been cancelled *sigh*. Anyway, I think it’s set up properly again now, although Issue 20 hasn’t dropped through my door yet…
Anywho, Issue 19 arrived via Sainsbury’s and somewhat appropriately my contribution for this issue, in conjunction with plastic bag tax that England finally caught up with the rest of the UK on, is for reusable shopping bags that pack away into their own handy pouch for you to pop in your pocket/handbag.
The fun fabrics are available from Remnant Kings, can’t wait to see what you choose to make yours!
great bag. Love the fabrics you chose.
How frustrating for you, and bad marks to both bank and postman. Hope your deliveries are back on track now.
How very green of you. Well done.
The Oul Da
Posties are the worse at the moment aren't they! Lovely project!
Glad you got to the bottom of the post issue and if you think the British postal system is bad … don't get me started since I moved over here! Great bag and that's another problem here – they can't give you enough plastic bags at the tills – they even insist on doubling bagging; and recycling? what's that?!!! I think California are moving in the right direction but … >:(
Glad you got that sorted, now if you could just persuade Tesco to stock it!!!!
