I nearly fell over when I found that the latest issue of Quilt Now had actually arrived on time for once!  (For those not familiar, my postie is somewhat incapable of doing his job about 95% of the time, the magazine is sent out on time!)  It was lovely that this one chose to arrive so promptly, as I made it onto the cover for this one:

I got sent a gorgeous F8 bundle of a few of the In Theory Barkcloth prints from Cloud 9 fabrics, and I knew they would be perfect to kick off my series on things to take to sewing retreats and classes, so I used some to make a handy tool roll:

I notice that The Village Haberdashery has had to reorder this barkcloth once already, so go and grab some of this tactile loveliness as soon as you can!
