Recently the lovely Kerry, of Very Kerry Berry fame, contacted me about an article she was writing on bag makers for Sewing World magazine here in the UK, because she was intending to include me. The issue in question, the October edition, is now in the shops:
I was honoured to find myself in the company of Lisa Lam, Anna Graham and Sara Lawson (actually you could have knocked me down with a feather!):
This issue happens to cover a few other people I know, including the new Thread House triumvirate, so I think it would be well worth making a trip into your local newsagent to check it out.
You can also find more information on the Sewing World Facebook page, and on their Twitter account.
Well done you! Are we going to have to widen the doors to let your head through now?
You’re in the big leagues now, Kiddo, right up there with the greats. The bags designed by you pictured in the article are very impressive. I’m familiar with Sara Lawson for her fabrics that she designs for Art Gallery fabrics and now I see she also designs bags. It’s a very talented group featured in this article.
Isn’t that cool? Congrats!!
Congrats! That’s quite an honor!
Ooh can’t wait to get hold of this, didn’t realise you were in it too! Good old Kerry 🙂
You really are making a name for yourself! Well done xx
Fame at last!!
