Unfortunately things didn’t quite go to plan this week on the making front.  My great uncle died last Thursday morning (peacefully in his sleep), so I’ve been spending time with my gran and talking to her and my mum quite a bit on the phone (they had their own disaster, but I’ll not go into that here)  I did get to spend a lovely Sunday at the Stitch Gathering through in Edinburgh, and you can read all about it in Monday’s post here.

This week I need to get the Quilt Now project that I cut out on Saturday into its final state, complete with photos of how it got there, and I’ve got a pattern to work out for the next project, which I’ll hopefully do this weekend.  There was something else in my mind that I’d thought of doing, but alas it meandered off yesterday and has yet to return, so next week’s WIP Wednesday will be a mystery!

Finishes This Week:

My Stitch Gathering class got their ironing mat/caddies complete – that’s totally a finish in my book:

In Progress This Week:

The photo that I’m positive I took of the fabric for the QN project has vanished, so you’ll have to trust me that it’s some fab Lecien First Of Infinity linen.

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Finish this month’s QN project
  • Start next month’s QN project
  • Work on some prep for an upcoming class (more details of which to follow)

I hope you all have a great week!
