Do you ever reach a point where you’ve sewn loads of ‘have to’ things, and you cannot possibly do another without screaming?  I reached that point on Monday night when I couldn’t do another stitch on something that wasn’t 100% fun and with no strings attached, so I broke out my previously set aside Cross Cut QAL mutant and embraced the rainbow.  I felt so much better afterwards that I may need to just play for the rest of the evenings this week :oD  This coming weekend is, of course, fall Quilt Market in Houston, and while I’d love to be there, instead I’ll be hanging out with a bunch of my online friends for an event there, so check out my Instagram feed over the weekend for the chance to win a whole host of prizes from some fabulous designers and companies, oh, and me ;o)

Finishes This Week:

Nope.

In Progress This Week:

This is my rainbow.  I snapped this last night as I was trying to work things out:

But as a reminder, this is what the cross cut bit looks like when it’s not all scrumpled up:

I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes :o)

There was also some boring secret squirrel stuff that I can’t share.

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • Embracing the rainbow
  • More secret stuff
  • Instagram event for Market

Hope you have a great week!
