I’m busy preparing for my next class at the Stitchery, Sewing For Beginners (apologies, it sold out before I could advertise it here!)
Sadly, it will be the last class I teach there as the studio are closing their doors to return to private tuition after the end of March.
In the meantime I’ve got another plan in the works, I’m just awaiting a few more details before I share publicly!
Whilst you’re waiting (doubtless perched on the very edge of your seats) I have a question for you – If you’re doing a course, do you prefer to have a range of projects, or just one to concentrate on the whole time?
I think that it would depend on the skill level of the project and how long the course. Beginning level projects would likely take a shorter time due to fewer steps. If you were to teach a quilting class it would more than likely take many more classes than the time it would take for making a cosmetics bag. Both are rewarding but it would come down to what the person whose signing up for the class wants to commit to time wise.
Just one at a time … depending on complexity 🙂
I probably like to work on a few projects but I may be the exception. Good luck with your new projects
Hi Katy–Difficult to decide-perhaps one project which includes a few different techniques and that you are able to finish. Then again two or three different projects using the same techniques could give everyone a choice.
Not much help I’m afraid!
