I hope you all had a lovely long weekend and that the Easter bunny hopped by with an egg or two. We have a long suffering bunny in our office that leaves everyone a big egg and hides wee eggs around the building. She’s long suffering as every year they go round late in the afternoon, hoping that everyone will have gone home, and inevitably there’s a few of us left who are up for negotiating the flavour we get ;o) I managed to trade out a Rolo for a Mini Egg for a Maltesers egg, which I can’t eat as I’m on a diet, but I reckon by October I should be good…
Anyway, I got to spend much of my weekend sewing as the weather wasn’t fantastic, but I did do a wee walk into town on Monday morning to grab a magazine and book in for a much needed trip to the hairdressers! I hope you all had fun whatever you were up to :o)
Finishes This Week:
For some reason I got it into my head that my Heather Ross Mini Swap was due in early May, so I spent Friday and Saturday powering through and making mine. Turns out it’s due the end of June. Oh well!
In Progress This Week:
After the mini was finished I moved onto a commission piece, and I had great fun seeing if anyone on IG could guess what it was going to be from this sneak preview. They couldn’t ;o)
To Be Worked On This Week:
- Carry on with the commission
- Start on my next Quilt Now project
- Get a much needed haircut!
Hope you all have a great week!
I do admire your restraint with the chocolate . My diets unfortunately never last . I love your heather Ross mini swap , just don’t lose it between now and then , and as for your commission, army camouflage?
That mini is awesome, the commission – something to do with a map of the world?
I’m pretty sure I see a deer in the commission drawing but then again I’m always seeing things that aren’t there. The mini turned out rather wonderful and to think, now you needn’t worry about the deadline.
Chocolate in my undoing when I’m dieting so hats off for your not giving in to temptation. Maybe you should send it my way for safe keeping. :o)
