Unusually we had a pretty nice bank holiday weekend here, and I even took myself for a wee walk in the sun on Monday – 8 miles, climbing the equivalent of 35 flights of stairs as I went! I just walked through the city going past, and sometimes through, the pretty parks, although my knees were a wee bit sore after that route march. On Saturday I finished my next Quilt Now project, so Sunday was all about giving Ali, my 201K a spa day, and then I had a bath myself, equal opportunities and all that! On Monday evening I played with my new Automatic zigagger for Pete the 221, who then decided to play up and got a complete spa of his own, plus a capacitorectomy, so after that I abandoned sewing and went for laying out my commission project. Any idea what it is yet?

In Progress This Week:
This is the base layer of the mystery commission piece, with apologies for the photo in the gloom, it’s not stuck down yet…
To Be Worked On This Week:
- Getting the base layer done on the commission piece
- Cutting the top layer of the commission piece
- Going to find bluebells in Loch Lomond
Hope you all have a great week!
Absolutely no idea of what that weird looking collection of scraps is going to become. Regardless of the having quite the imagination, or so I’ve been told, I’m completely stumped, and intrigued.
We’re supposed to be getting some super warm weather here today, and so far it looks like for once the weatherman is spot on with his predictions. I might be tempted to take a walk but nothing like the one you did. Five miles is my limit and no stairs if I can help it.
Looking really good – can’t wait to see the next steps.
Still no idea what you are making and that thingy ectomy sounds painful
I wonder what Jack makes of your commission project …
