So issue 39 of Quilt Now just out here in the UK brings some great news for my US readers – Barnes & Noble will now be stocking Quilt Now in all their stores, from issue 37 (as it takes them a wee while to swim over there) so for those of you who didn’t want to go with the digital subscription, now’s your chance to get your hands on a paper copy :o)
For my project in this issue I broke out my stash of Gingiber Thickett fabrics to make this fun (and snazzy!) tote. I need a new bag for work, so I thought I’d get it published before I toted it into the office ;o) As well as the inset handles on the front/back of the tote there is also a detachable strap on the sides:
This bag has kicked off about 3 more projects for me, so eventually my bed and my bag will match, which is what everyone wants, right?!
Congratulations! Things are moving on for yiu
Great, prefer the paper magazine
Great news 🙂 Just need Canada on board now…
The Fox in the Thicket has never looked better. The tote turned out great! Heading over to Barnes & Nobel today to pick up my copy and any back copies they might still have.
I’ve never thought about having my bed and bag match, but guess it could happen. ;o)
That’s great! Love mr fox
So happy to hear that QN will be in Barnes & Noble! Bruce and I visit every week for a coffee/reading “date”. PS – I loved your post about Chunk. I guess I should name my Singer 1916 treadle machine, since all my electric machines (save one) have names.
