Another month, another issue of Quilt Now, and this time with a fun collection of clamshell templates for free. I’m vaguely considering taking them on holiday with me, perhaps with some Liberty, but then hand sewing… I’ve still a while to decide anyway!

A couple of months ago I got terribly over-efficient and sent in a bunch of projects to QN Towers, so what would appear in this month’s issue was a bit of a mystery! Anyway, it turned out to be a phone holder wallet which I thought was rather useful and killed several birds with one stone – a place for your phone as well as somewhere for your cash and a few cards all in one location. I finally cut into this Essex yarn-dyed linen that I’ve had hanging around for quite a while waiting for its perfect project, and I added a splash of colour with the binding just for fun. You may notice a bit of an obsession with bias binding over the next few issues, for which I apologise now!

I hope you enjoy this month’s magazine, and don’t forget to let me know if you make something from one of my patterns.
