So the good news is, there’s been a lot of rain over the last week so I felt absolutely no guilt about staying in and sewing (other than a quick walk into town on Saturday – I hate crowds!). The bad news is, there’s been a lot of rain this week, which is not conducive to taking photos of the finished items… I’m hoping that over the next day or two there will be a coincidence of ‘dry’ and ‘lunch time’ at work so I can finally get a photo of the finished KLT quilt.  I have to admit, that once I got the bit between my teeth 2 weekends ago on it, I worked steadily and slightly demonically on it until I finished the binding on Saturday night, which left me to spend Sunday doing prep work for the first Thistle Patch Retreat in November.  I might have effectively given myself some things to play with in order to create some fun things for the retreaters, but that’s totally allowed, right?

Finishes This Week:

The KLT quilt is done! And this is the most I can offer you by way of photos at the moment as I haven’t a big enough indoor space for a full sized photo:

In Progress This Week:

I did some prep on the Christmas stack, but haven’t started sewing anything just yet:

I also did a bit on the QN projects I neglected at the weekend.

Oh, and a couple of new KLT scrap packs landed yesterday, I can totally use these guilt free now, right?

To Be Worked On This Week:

  • A friend’s hen do on Saturday – aim for the end of the night is no hangover for Sunday
  • Finishing the 2 outstanding QN projects
  • Maybe I’ll start to play with the Christmas stack…

I hope you all have a great week!
