Whew, well I was lucky to have a whole week off after I got home to recover from my travels (and to do the washing and put everything away!)  It gave me a chance to finish a couple of magazine projects and to work on some patterns for the Thistle Patch Retreat next month(!!)  I also managed to get another bee block done, so only one more 15″ x 30″ monstrosity to go to complete this round (which is, like, a year late, but I’m far from being the last so I don’t feel too bad lol)  All I can say is that I’m missing the cake for lunch habit I was developing while I was away, and the roaming around outside, but it will feel strangely good to get back to the day job today.  And I’ll probably be over that feeling by tonight ;o)

In Progress This Week:

At the moment the retreat patterns don’t look terribly exciting, being as they’re only on paper, but next week I hope to have some samples made up!

• Full steam ahead with retreat prep
• Hopefully I’ll get to play with the messy part of the prep too…
