This week has definitely had its ups and downs. On the upside I spent a lovely weekend doing Thistle Patch Retreat prep – getting my NYB patterns into a printable format and starting some of the sample sewing, then printing up all the goody bags and some of the staff shirts with sparkly purple ink, and sending out our last newsletter with directions and all that jazz. On Monday we had a big all staff meeting at the day job where I ended up standing for over an hour and a half and the knee that had started meandering about a bit on the way down the glacier while I was away (and popped out a couple of times when walking round an Italian lake) really did not like that, nor in fact did the other one for having to compensate, and then my hip decided to throw its hat in the ring too. Yesterday morning though it seemed fine, and off I went to the gym… and yesterday evening I spent time in A&E getting looked over and set a bunch of exercises with accompanied threats of what surgeons might want to do if they didn’t work – keep your fingers crossed for the exercise please!
Finishes This Week:
Here are the lovely retreat bags, although you can’t see the sparkle in the ink here unfortunately:
